Strike Farms Weekly News - January 1


Sure enough, the holidays flew by! Finding some family time and orchestrating our staff and deliveries over the holidays have catapulted us into the New Year! Brighter times are on the horizon for Strike Farms in 2018. We've officially made it through our first year of major growth! We are looking forward to taking everything we learned in 2017 to make 2018 the best year yet.

It's hard to believe that we are approaching the Winter Solstice in just a few days. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's are all great holidays, but the Winter Solstice is an extra special day of the year. The winter solstice, also known as midwinter, is an astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year.

We're only one week into December and the holidays are rapidly approaching. I swear it was December 1st yesterday! From here on out we will see a major uptick in holiday gatherings with co-workers, friends and family. We will be surrounded by savory foods, holiday sweets, libations and gifts galore - some we love, and some we hate. Just thinking about the holidays can be overwhelming - it's a lot to pack into one month!

By taking a short pause while reading this email, you will notice that farming is all around us. From our morning coffee to the clothes that we wear to our afternoon protein snacks, we are constantly surrounded by the products farmers grow.
