Welp! We've made it to the end of November. With the first four weeks of Winter CSA and Thanksgiving behind us, we're pushing into December strong.

Last week, Mother Nature dealt us a perfect hand. The snow melted and the ground thawed just enough for the crew to get back into the field. Often times, as fall and winter approach people become overly excited to see snow and frigid temperatures. The excitement for winter activities easily makes one forget about our local food supply. This fall, winter came so quickly that we were unable to harvest all of our crops before the rows were blanketed with snow. Last week's brief warm up allowed for the rest of the purple-top turnips, daikon radishes and golden beets to be harvested. All of these crops will be making their way into CSA Boxes over the course of the winter.
